There are two villages with the name Patones north of Madrid; one called Patones de Arriba (up) high up in the mountain, the other Patones de Abajo (bottom) where villagers eventually settled for easier life and access. At some point, Patones de Arriba was "rediscovered" and is now a place visited by man who desire to look back at the past and enjoy the charming views, picturesque rustic buildings, lush colors... Born in Madrid, Spain, for many years residing in West Texas and loving it. Although with educational and professional background in business administration, Art was my passion from as early as I can remember. Busy rearing two children while fully employed, my budding interest in painting eventually turned to a pursue of the almost "instant gratification" that I thought photography would offer while capturing my impressions, especially when traveling.
