Titled Nadadores, Javea. The 1905 work of accomplished Spanish impressionist Joaquin Sorolla y Bastida depicting swimmers immersed in deep blue and emerald-colored water and its realist movement in Javea, Alicante, Spain. Museo Sorolla is located in what used to be the artist's family home in Madrid, Spain, graced by beautifully romantic gardens that were designed by Joaquin Sorolla himself.

Born in Madrid, Spain, for many years residing in West Texas and loving it. Although with educational and professional background in business administration, Art was my passion from as early as I can remember. Busy rearing two children while fully employed, my budding interest in painting eventually turned to a pursue of the almost "instant gratification" that I thought photography would offer while capturing my impressions, especially when traveling. It is a wonderfully beautiful world out there, and soon after starting taking pictures I felt impelled to share those images with friends, family, and beyond, as a way to relive the moments that I had so enjoyed capturing, perhaps even allowing others to see those places, people, art,...
