About Nieves Nitta
Born in Madrid, Spain, for many years residing in West Texas and loving it. Although with educational and professional background in business administration, Art was my passion from as early as I can remember. Busy rearing two children while fully employed, my budding interest in painting eventually turned to a pursue of the almost "instant gratification" that I thought photography would offer while capturing my impressions, especially when traveling. It is a wonderfully beautiful world out there, and soon after starting taking pictures I felt impelled to share those images with friends, family, and beyond, as a way to relive the moments that I had so enjoyed capturing, perhaps even allowing others to see those places, people, art,...

Appreciate your attention and words of wisdom Bijan. Thank you so much taking time to visit and share. I so enjoy learning and finding that intuition often makes up for what may be lacking in formal training. Best regards.

Good Tuesday morning to a terrific lady, The other day we talked about FRAME WITHIN A FRAME (framing one object with another.) Here's another photographic concept that you have executed quite nicely, whether or not you're familiar with its title. The title is ANCHORING THE SHOT. You include an object in the foreground that captures the viewr's attention right away, and from there, his or her eyes move to the rest of the image. The foreground object anchors the shot. Here, my eyes went straight to the arm and hand, and from there to the rest of the image. Well done, my lady. In some landscape or seascape shots, you will notice that, for example, a piece of driftwood is in the foreground to anchor the shot. From there, your eyes move to the rest of the image, which could be sunrise and red clouds over the ocean.
