An iconic landmark, the famous aqueduct in Segovia was probably completed in the early 2nd century; it is one of the most significant and best preserved ancient Roman architectural monuments remaining in Spain. A favorite travel destination for its duty, magnificence and historical context. The aqueduct is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site - No. 311.
