Behind the shrine of Chimayo in New Mexico, visited by so many pilgrims, I came across this weathered wooden cross resting on the rock wall near a window sill. Indoors, behind the window is the small room that contains the Posito, the little sand well that measuring 18 inches wide by 9 inches never seems to be depleted. There are three crosses on this image, all humble reminders of what they represent. Born in Madrid, Spain, for many years residing in West Texas and loving it. Although with educational and professional background in business administration, Art was my passion from as early as I can remember.
