From the 1600s the city of Antequera, province of Málaga, Spain has been known as "the heart of Andalusia" (el corazón de Andalucía) due to its central location among Málaga, Granada, Córdoba, and Seville. Antequera is a picturesque city, with a rich history and heritage of many cultures. This fountain of San Sebastian, located in the plaza of the same name, is a 1545 Renaissance work by Baltasar de Godros, sculptor from Granada.
