Artist's Description
This is a close-up of "Iron and Lace," another image of the same window. The crocheted curtain behind a tiny window protected by wrought-iron grille, and three terracotta flowerpots on its sill hint of the dweller pride in her/his home. One of countless interesting sights in picturesque Albarracin -- some say one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. Albarracin is an ancient, historical town in the province of Teruel, autonomous community of Aragon, Spain. It was the capital of a Moorish kingdom that has preserved all its Islamic and medieval flavor and Jewish heritage. The streets of Albarracin are very steep, winding, narrow, where surprises abound at every corner. This image is protected by US and international copyright laws, not to be copied, manipulated or used without prior written permission from the author, Nieves Nitta. Thanks for visiting!

It is a wonderfully beautiful world out there, and soon after starting taking pictures I felt impelled to share those images with friends, family, and beyond, as a way to relive the moments that I had so enjoyed capturing, perhaps even allowing others to see those places, people, art,...
